I could describe Sydney as a water city. Every place I visit has water fountains. As I wrote in the previous post, the ferry is part of this city. So, I scheduled one day as a Concept of water and ocean.

# Australian National Maritime Museum

First, at Darling Harbour, there is the Australian National Maritime Museum. Outside the Museum, a retired warship and submarine have been exhibited on the bay. My father worked at the Department of Maritime; we were interested in these giant ships.

When we visited the Submarine, it was a little bit thrilling to enter the inside. It was quite an unusual gate. We had to go down the ladder.

Inside, there was a calm and dark place. Every room was tiny beside narrow corridors. As you know, it was a submarine. So, everything in there must have been considered by efficiency.

What I was surprised by was that the submarine's length was longer than I expected. But the narrow corridor might make it feel longer than it looks at the outside.

After escaping the underwater monster, I visited the warship, which was running until the 1990s. It took about one hour to watch the whole ship. There was a restaurant, sleeping room, and wheelhouse. On the deck, machine guns and naval guns were set up on each side of the ship.

In the Museum building, there are lots of ocean things exhibited. My astonishing part of those was the warning about ocean pollution. Pictures of netted turtles, dolphins, and dead birds with plastic trash bursting out from their bellies made me serious about our planet's nature.

# Fish Market Seafood Plate

The Fish Market is famous for fresh seafood, which is captured that very day. I visited a restaurant at the Fish Market. All the food was made by fish and prawns and crab near there.

What I ate is above the plate. The Seafood Plate. It consisted of Prawns and fried cod and big crab with fried potatoes. The first time I ate this one, I felt a little bit disappointed at the lower salt flavor than the Korean one.

But the more I ate, the more I felt it had its own attractive point. Since Antarctica's ice made the ocean less salty and colder than any other ocean, prawns or crab meat are denser than the rest of the area.

So, I enjoyed it with pleasure. All food is fresh.

# OZ Jet Boating

Finally, this is the most exciting point of the day. OZ Jet Boating.

Near the Circular Quay, OZ Jet Boating Wharf is located beside the main wharves. I booked already through the MyRealTrip site and went there. It has two types of courses. One is 30 minutes; the other is 45 minutes. For me, I choose the former. 

A staff member told me to wear a raincoat(a red one) and taught me to hold the bar in front of me tightly.

When it started, I didn't know how it could be fun and exciting. But every two or three minutes, the driver took his right hand up to the sky and counted down from 3,2,1. It turns out that means stop the boat spinning around on the sea.

Whenever it spins, a sudden stop makes the water flood into the boat. And it's cool.

### Short Summary: Just do OZ Jet Boating if you are in Sydney.
